The CSL 9474-ETG acts as a barrier so that an unsafe Ethernet Cable can be used in Zone 0, Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas as well as Underground Coal Mines.
Features:
- The 9474-ETG is an I.S. Gigabit Interface that allows a Zone 2, uncertified safe area device, or an Ex d device to connect to other IS 9400 Series Ethernet Equipment in the Hazardous Area
- It uses the same CSL Patented circuits as the ExLAN for I.S. Devices.
- But uses an enhanced Voltage Clamping circuit to give non-IS Devices Ethernet connectivity.
- The two ports support speeds of 10/100/1000Mbps.
- It is designed to allow OEMs to integrate I.S. Ethernet into an uncertified safe area device.
- The Gigabit versions are suitable for IIB gas groups, the 100Mbps versions are suitable for IIC gas groups. All versions are suitable for Group I Mining.
